Scott supervised the electrical rewiring and renovation of Gavett 118 in which a major facilities gift will be located (the two facilities are the Optipro SX50 grinder and the Optipro UFF finishing machine, for a total near to $500K.) Benefit to the Hajim School

The Gavett 118 lab will house two platforms that require significantly different electrical power than other nearby labs. The two CNC platforms will be available to all UR engineering students, including undergrads, after they have been trained to use these machines. They will provide on-campus state-of-the-art CNC manufacturing platforms and expand our capabilities in student projects and research
