Accomplishment: Rachel helped out with the orientation and registration of the entering class in engineering. She helped out with the large group meeting where she described study-abroad opportunities for engineers. During Friday and Monday she was on hand to help with freshman questions about online registration and course selection.
Benefit to the Hajim School: We wish to communicate to undergraduates that study-abroad is a viable option for engineering students, and Rachel helped in communicating this idea. We also had record numbers of incoming engineering freshmen, so having UG's help with registration relieved the primary faculty advisers from a lot of the work, especially due to the high numbers of students.
