Scott has received superb teaching evaluations by several students, who especially comment on his willingness to stay after hours with various student groups who are working on their lab projects. In addition, Scott has done much work towards developing, installing, and debugging the LabView software used in the CS 160 course. These contributions have gone considerably beyond the call of duty, given the fact that this is not a MechE course.
Benefit to the Hajim School
Over the last four years MechE undergraduate lab enrollments have increased by 50%, yet Scott has done a superb job in expanding the lab requirements reflected in these higher student numbers. He has been instrumental in allowing our undergrad labs to expand by 50%. This is a remarkable result. This has been a Hajim School-wide accomplishment, and Scott has played a pivotal role.
