Accomplishment

The ECE department has submitted the most ideas to the Innovation Box and it is a testament to Jason's leadership and staff development. Jason's ability to bring new perspective to a situation or process has been a well suited strength for the ECE department and the Hajim School.

Submitting ideas for improvement to the Innovation Box brings productive discussions and projects. Jason's innovative ideas and department leadership has created a staff department team that has learned and developed new skills and processes.

Accomplishment

Jason completed a successful University Audit review that led to a positive report on ECE's financial standing. University Audit's comments: "Our overall impression was very good. It seems that there has been a tremendous amount of progress". Specifically, Jason implemented financial controls and protocols, decreased the number of accounts in deficit and substantially reduced the department operating deficit.

Financial and administrative management is an essential tool for the Hajim School to operate as an excellent school.

Accomplishment

Major proposal support for SRC Nanoelectronics Research Initiative Center proposal. Jason worked with multiple ECE faculty members (Hanan Dery, Michael Huang and Hui Wu) along with faculty and staff from 10 subaward institutions.

Benefit to the Hajim School

The Hajim School is the lead investigator on a center submission with a funding potential of $9.1M.
