Accomplishment: Donna did an outstanding job over the last couple of years organizing the Order of Engineer ceremony and venue. This year, things went great….116 inductees, many of which were parents, uncles, and grandfathers.

Benefit to the Hajim School: Ceremonies like Order of the Engineer dominate the memories of graduation weekend and make people willing to give something back so it is important that we do this ceremony well. Donna makes sure it runs smoothly and takes the stress out of organizing the event; she's got it down to a science.

Accomplishment: Donna took time to organize the Dean's Office supply room as well as the kitchen area. Specifically she helped to clear out old electronics for the SWE student group to use for future events.

Benefit to the Hajim School: There are multiple users and guests of both these areas and keeping the space clean makes it easier to get work done and creates an appealing environment.

Accomplishment: As had been my hope, Donna has now become the go-to person for in-house data pertaining to undergraduate Hajim school students. This year she made some fairly significant changes to the class lists database in order to more efficiently and accurately produce lists and data on a moment's notice. She worked hard to implement systems that ensure the accuracy of the information in her database. This was done without feeling the need to seek approval for every little change that was made, and instead simply showed us the results. The best example of this is the information she provides each week on the number of midterm warnings our students have received to-date. The layout is simple and the data very relevant, making it much easier for her to draw our attention to any trends she notices.

Benefit to the Hajim School: This has resulted in our being able to identify students in academic difficulty as well as particularly challenging courses well before Academic Action at the end of each semester.
