Chunlei Guo, Lead PI on the proposal, states, "thank you very much for your efforts in handling this proposal. I am sure that the entire team will share my appreciation on how efficiently you have coordinated us and made this happen. We simply could not ask for a better support." Barbara coordinated a good deal of this work from Europe!

Accomplishment: Updating the optics web site to comply with the new Hajim School design formats. Performing this work required learning the Cascade Web Content Management System, which involved spending several weeks, almost full time, teaching yourself this new system. After the updates were complete and having shared the site with all of optics faculty and staff, the site received very positive feedback.
Benefit to the Hajim School: The updated web site design is a positive benefit to the perception of the Institute of Optics within the University of Rochester community, the Institute's Industrial Associates Members, and the external community at large. Working on these updates to the web site has also served to increase and enhance Barbara's own skill set as a valued staff member of the Hajim School.
