Accomplishment: Excellent accomplishment to plan and arrange the special event for Professor Nick George's retirement and his endowed professorship on April 12, together with the Institute of Optics Industrial Associates Spring Meeting on April 13. Both events are very successful. To organize IA event is not Gina Kern's responsibility. However, due to the short hand of staff support, Gina stepped in.

Benefit to the Hajim School: About 100 faculty, staff, alumni attended the special retirement event, talks and reception in honor for Professor George, President Joel Seligman attended the reception and announced the endowed professorship.

Accomplishment: Gina Kern showed her outstanding organization and arrangement skill for our Industrial Associates Fall Event 2015. Gina Kern assisted Jay Eastman and me to put a great IA program together during a short time. We were short of staff, change of the Advancement staff, new format of IA event, etc. With critical contribution Gina made, this IA event is considered the best IA event in recent years.

Benefit to the Hajim School: We made significant advances in the students and company engagement, meeting arrangement, number of registered people (321 registration, about 60 industrial members), and event brochure. Congresswoman Louise Slaughter’s remarks during the reception was a big plus. Gina made a perfect arrangement
