Date: October 23, 2015
Nominated by: Carla Boff, Administrator, Biomedical Engineering

Accomplishment: Sandy was a great asset for the 2015 Meliora Weekend. Sandy coordinated the BME open house on October 9th and the BME 15 year Department Celebration on October 10th. She was instrumental in securing alumni to participate in a panel discussion and this was a very successful event. Sandy purchased and arranged balloons, foods, drinks, desserts and set up posters on both the 2nd and 3rd floors. Not only did she set up but she stayed late to clean up after both events, requiring Sandy to work late Friday night and most of the day on Saturday. She had such a positive attitude and is a great team player within the BME Department.

Benefit to the Hajim School: The Biomedical Engineering Department was able to host a very successful Meliora Open House and Alumni Panel Discussion for visiting alumni, parents and current students as well. The events were well attended and there was a great selection of food, drinks and desserts. Nice job Sandy!
