Accomplishment: Rachel became a new undergraduate adviser to the department this year and is doing an outstanding job already. She has stepped up to the plate in addition to all the other responsibilities she has, which include teaching the recitation for CHE 150 every week and being a main contact for our senior lab. On top of all this, Rachel organized an "internship rountable night" for CHE students to share their summer experiences and network with each other. She genuinely cares about their academic success and future.
Benefit to the Hajim School: Rachel is a female role model for the Hajim School. We don't have enough female leadership and Rachel is an example of a Hajim employee that goes above and beyond for her department. She deserves to be recognized for these efforts.
