Koji Muto

Koji Muto graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Business from the University in 2015. He joined ExxonMobil Research & Engineering as a Project Development Engineer in Houston, Texas.

At Rochester, Koji co-founded the Japanese Students’ Association and was the President of Tau Beta Pi (TBP). He enjoyed mentoring underclassmen as a Mechanical Engineering Peer Adviser, Teaching Assistant, and TBP tutor.  He joined the George Eastman Circle in his senior year and encouraged others to give back as a part of the Senior Gift Drive Committee.

Koji remains an active alumni as a founding member of the Hajim Young Leadership Council and Houston Network Leadership Cabinet. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, traveling with his girlfriend Thanh (also MechE ‘15), and exercising with his dog, Mochi.
