Freeform Optics, Optics Manufacturing, Metrology
Born and raised in central New Jersey, I received my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2012. Upon graduating, I moved to Austin, TX and worked for National Instruments as an Applications Engineer supporting their distributed control system offerings. In 2014, I returned to the Rochester area to join Optimax Systems as part of their R&D group, focusing on the development of novel methods for freeform manufacturing. My pursuit of a MS in Mechanical Engineering began in 2015, with my research focused on the design of precision metrology methods for freeform optical components.
