A large part of the upcoming Spring IA Meeting, held a bit later in the year than usual, will be spent honoring the retirement of Dr. Nick George. Various events and receptions will allow current students, faculty, IA Member companies and Institute of Optics alumni to celebrate the legacy that this cherished professor and optics industry leader leaves behind as he prepares to move west.
