Hajim School Strategic Plan

Dec. 2, 2013

Members of the Hajim School community,

During the past year, members of our faculty and staff have served on strategic planning committees, listened to ideas and collaboratively formulated plans around our two core missions of education and research, along with the administrative activities that support these missions. I am very pleased with the work performed by these individuals and would like to share their recommendations with you through the strategic plan document.

Our strategic plan articulates what we would like to accomplish collectively as a school over the coming years. The document is intentionally concise, so the recommendations can be easily incorporated into discussions within department meetings, committees or research groups, and the plan is appropriately flexible, so we do not exclude new breakthroughs that may arise in research or instruction.

Writing the plan is only the beginning. Our next steps will be to operationalize these ideas, both as a school and individual departments, to address the challenges and opportunities we've identified.

I look forward to partnering with all of you in the continued success of the Hajim School.

Meliora,

Robert L. Clark
Senior Vice President for Research
Professor and Dean
