Faculty members accept responsibilities in various roles for OSA

Two faculty members, Dr. Agrawal and Dr. Zhang, recently accepted responsiblities as Editor-in-Chief for OSA publications.

Dr. Govind Agrawal, who has proven leadership in the world of scientific publishing, will be Editor-in-Chief for OSA's Advances in Optics and Photonics.

Dr. Xi-Cheng Zhang, director of the Institute, will be Editor-in-Chief of Optics Letters. He will also serve as Director at Large during the centenary year of the Optical Society of America.

Leadership and service such as this reflects on our Institute and will help us retain a position of prominence in Optics.
