For the detailed analysis on each amount of CeO test, the EDS will perform more acurrate number than the image process. In Figure4, I used the EDAS on the bottom side of both N95 and control facemask after 100mg CeO test. The only element on N95 bottom facemask is carbon. However, there are large amount of Ce showed on the control mask which indicate the ability of N95 facemask that can separate the 2.5um particles.
Moreover, I performed the ZAF correction and get the Wt% of all three different amount of CeO test on the bottom of the control mask. This table showed the Ce wt% going up with the increase of CeO particles applied on the facemask.
