The making of a new lab

This was how the undergraduate lab space was partitioned off before the renovation began.

Employees of Pike Construction begin taking down the partitions and tearing up the floor.

By August, the space was cleared.

And within a month, a new floor was in place, along with new lighting.

Once the new benches were in place ...

...the lab was ready for students! These students began using it on Sept. 16, 2013.
