Overlap Policy

Students are reminded that they are subject to the College's "overlap policy" with respect to double majors and a major and minor:

• Up to two courses used to fulfill requirements in another major may be used toward an interdepartmental engineering major.
• No more than two courses overlapping between a minor and a major.

If a cross-listed course (such as ME 201/MTH 281) is listed under two majors, it counts toward the overlap limit even if it is listed for engineering science as one number and a cross-listed number in the second major or a minor.
