Biography
Bernard (Barney) Ricca is a professor of instruction and director of the MS in Healthcare Data Science and AI at the Goergen Institute for Data Science and AI. He was previously a Research Associate Professor at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at the University of Colorado, researching resilience and post-trauma dynamics, and an Associate Professor at St. John Fisher College, where he taught statistics and data science.
For more than three decades, Dr. Ricca has worked developing data analysis approaches and assisting researchers in the social, behavioral, and health sciences with data analysis. He has been especially active working with complex and nonlinear dynamical systems and STEM education.
