Juvenal Ormachea Successfully Defends his PhD Thesis

Congratulations to Juvenal Ormachea who successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Viscoelastic Tissue Characterization Based on Harmonic and Transient Shear Wave Elastography.”  Juvenal's public defense took place on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, immediately followed by a closed-door defense session.  Juvenal has been supervised by Professor Kevin Parker.  His PhD committee was chaired by Professor Jong Hoon Nam (Mechanical Engineering), and included Professors Marvin Doyley (Electrical & Computer Engineering) and Steve McAleavey (Biomedical Engineering).  Again, congratulations to Juvenal and many thanks for his hard work and significant contributions to Professor Parker's Medial Imaging Research Group.  The Group is fortunate that Juvenal has chosen to stay on as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, we look forward to his continuing efforts!
