Biography

Danziel Dooley was born on 9 May 1992 in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Southeastern High School of Technology in 2011. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2011 and attended Recruit Training in India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Parris Island, South Carolina. Upon completion of Recruit Training in June 2011 Private Dooley was assigned to Marine Combat Training (MCT) at Camp Geiger, North Carolina; after graduating MCT he was transferred to Meridian, MS where he attended his formal Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) School (Aviation Supply Specialist) receiving the Military Occupation Specialty of 6672; while attending school he was promoted to Private First Class in December 2011.

In January, 2012 Private First Class Dooley received orders to Camp Pendleton, 3rd Marine Aviation Wing, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 31 where he served as the supply clerk. Later that year in August he deployed to Afghanistan where he received a combat promotion to Lance Corporal. After returning from Afghanistan in March 2013, he received orders to HMLA-369 to serve as the squadron Expeditor where he then deployed for his second time to Afghanistan in November. While on deployment he received another combat promotion to Corporal. After returning from deployment in June 2014, he resumed his regular duties in supply as the Supply Management Division NCOIC and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in March 2015. Shortly After his promotion he received orders to Marine Aviation Logistic Squadron 31 in Beaufort, South Carolina. During this time, he served as the Warehouse Management NCOIC until his Promotion to Staff Sergeant in October 2018.

In October 2018 Staff Sergeant Dooley reported to Drill Instructor School aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina where he was assigned to First Recruit Training Battalion, Company A. During his tour on Parris Island he received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for superior performance of duty. In 2021, Staff Sergeant Dooley executed orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 29 in Jacksonville, NC; where he would receive a promotion to Gunnery Sergeant and a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Metal.
