Biography

Ali joined ACMML in September 2017 as a PhD student in mechanical engineering. He holds a BSc degree from K. N. Toosi University of Technology and an MSc degree from Sharif University of Technology, all in mechanical engineering. As an MSc student, he worked with Computational Nano/Bio-mechanics group on cell membrane. For his MSc thesis, Ali developed multi-scale model of the viscoelastic behavior of the cell membrane. He is currently working on the failure mechanisms of ultrathin Nanoporous membranes. His research interests include molecular dynamics simulation, Multi-scale modeling, and finite element analysis of microstructures.
