ECE Ph.D. student Xiaochen Guo recipient of a 2nd prestigious IBM Ph.D. Fellowship Award.

Congratulations to ECE Ph.D. student Xiaochen Guo! She has been selected as one of the recipients of the intensely competitive 2014-2015 IBM Ph.D. fellowship. This is a second IBM award for Xiaochen having won in 2012-2013.
The IBM Ph.D. Fellowship Awards Program is an intensely competitive worldwide program, which honors exceptional Ph.D. students who have an interest in solving problems that are important to IBM and fundamental to innovation in many academic disciplines and areas of study.
Xiaochen Guo’s research focuses on leveraging emerging resistive memory technologies in designing high-performance, energy-efficient computer systems. Her advisor is Professor Engin Ipek.
