Andrew Rojnuckarin

Class year: 2023
Major: Chemical Engineering
Challenge: Provide Access to Clean Water
Can you provide a short summary of your project?
My project was about improving access to clean water. I accomplished this through my time with Engineers Without Borders along with my research in computational fluid dynamics.
Why did you want to address this particular challenge?
I wanted to address this challenge since I was inspired by the Engineers Without Borders project in Tanzania, where we intend to construct a well in a rural town.
What was the most important takeaway or thing you learned through the course of the project?
My biggest takeaway was that there are many different avenues for approaching the same problem.
Now that you are graduating, what are your next steps?
Next year I am going to begin working towards completing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with a focus on enhancer genomics.
