This minor is intended for students who have chosen to take a minimum of 16 credits of materials science coursework in any appropriate department.

Requirements

ME 280/MSC 202: Introduction to Materials Science*

*This course requires the following prerequisites or permission from the instructor:

  • MATH 163: Differential Equations I
  • MATH 164/ME 164: Multidimensional Calculus (same as ME 164)
  • PHYS 123: Waves and Modern Physics
