Professor Ching W. Tang recipient of the 2007 IEEE Daniel E. Noble Award

(June 2006) Each year the IEEE Awards Board recommends a select group of recipients for the IEEE's most prestigious honors. This year IEES’s Board of Directors has named Ching W. Tang, Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Rochester as a recipient of the “2007 IEEE Daniel E. Noble Award”, along with Professor Steven R. Forrest of the University of Michigan and Professor Richard H. Friend of Cambridge University, with the following citation: "For pioneering contributions to the development of organic light-emitting diodes."
