Explore the exhibition “City of Lights: Rochester and the History of Optics,” in celebration of the Optical Society's centennial,
 
on display in the UR Rush Rhees Library: Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation Department Tours for an in-depth look at the achievements and milestones of the optical professions, from its beginning in the early twentieth century through its height during the post-World War II era, with particular focus on Rochester's important contributions to the field.

Location: Radisson Riverside Rochester, Riverside Ballroom and Lounge, 120 East Main Street, Rochester, NY 14604.  Buses leave on the half hour (6 pm - 8 pm).  The Radisson is easily accessed from the Hyatt and Convention Center via the Skyway Bridge. Parking (self or valet) is complimentary at the Radisson for those attending our event.
