Description

CHIP is a device created by Acorn Biochar in order to provide carbon capture through the production of biochar. The major area of concern pointed out by the sponsor was the automation of the input process through the introduction a pre-purchased linear actuator into the system. The team worked to provide a process model that accurately reflected CHIP’s conditions such that the linear actuator supplied a continuous amount of feedstock that would result in a more efficient throughput process.
