Abstract
The main goal of this project was to explore and optimize various properties of biochar composite building materials by modifying the particle sizes of biochar, utilizing pre-soaked biochar in some samples and varying the compositions ratio of cement, biochar, water and sand. Cylindrical and full-scale samples were successfully made to perform tests for compressive strength, hardness, thermal insulation, and electromagnetic wave shielding (EMI).
