Digital Media Studies (DMS)
The Digital Media Studies program at the University of Rochester welcomes you to this showcase of senior student projects, highlighting creative and critical work developed across media history, theory, technology, and production. Through an interdisciplinary approach that bridges the humanities and natural sciences, students explore how digital media and networked technologies shape society while building projects through research, experimentation, and iterative design.
The program prepares students to become thoughtful makers and creative problem-solvers who can contribute to a wide range of fields, from web and graphic design to video, sound, and game development, while also addressing pressing contemporary issues through digital media. We invite you to explore the work they have created.
